We are a full-service IT solutions provider. We specialize in small and medium businesses, which from tech standpoint have from five to 500 employees.

We are an equipment reseller, so we provide the technology where companies have their own expertise on staff. They can't just go down to Walmart or Best Buy and buy the more sophisticated equipment they need. They need to go through partners of Cisco, Microsoft, HP, IBM/Lenovo, APC, firms like that.

The other end of the business is customers with no tech expertise on staff and they call us for everything and anything ... emergencies, upgrades, new office builds and new capabilities.

One of the big things this year has been voice over Internet, which we specialize in. It's now affordable to smaller business, even a five-person office.

Another big thing we do is Microsoft Exchange hosting. We maintain the server in a data center and their clients just connect to it. It's cloud-based computing, so if the customer's Internet connection or power goes out, their email will still make it to a mailbox.

We also do state of the art spam filtering; 97 percent or more of the world's email is spam.

From a security standpoint what's current is two-factor authentication, which uses a password and a little fob with a six-digit number that rotates every 60 seconds. If the password or keychain is stolen, they can't be used alone to access the network.

The biggest challenge is overcoming people's reluctance to change. Sometimes they have no idea of technology that could help them.

For example, we brought in a biometric time clock, with hand scanning, to a business and reduced payroll tens of thousands of dollars the first year for a customer with 50 employees.

Entry: I previously was IT manager for Tropicana Casino and Resort. I started my first company when I was 19, and put that on hold when I went to Drexel University until the timing was right to be an entrepreneur again.

Future: I have a few projects in negotiation that would require some additional staff. There's very little that can't do what most of our customers need.
