QLD:Flood isolates residents in small Qld town
BRISBANE, Feb 2 AAP - A regional Queensland mayor has her fingers crossed flood-trapped
residents have enough food and water to sit out the big wet.
Blackall-Tambo mayor Jan Ross said local flooding in central west Queensland has cut
off a number of roads, crossings and bridges and residents are isolated on their properties
until the waters subside.
"Every road's cut - well, they're impassable - and there's lots of water so all the
rivers and creeks would be running," Ms Ross told ABC Radio.
